A delegation from the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) visited the SSUA ASEAN Center during a meeting held on 14 November 2025 in the Senate Hall of the Rectorate at the Social Sciences University of Ankara (SSUA).

Yukiko Hirai, First Secretary and Head of the Political Section at the Embassy of Japan, paid a courtesy visit to our Center. During the meeting, opportunities for mutual cooperation were discussed.

The ASEAN Center team, led by Director Assoc. Prof. Hatice Çelik and Deputy Directors Dr. Yusuf Avcı and Dr. Vuslat Nur Şahin, visited H.E. Ambassador Serap Ersoy, Acting Director General of Multilateral Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and her team.

During the visit, the parties held a productive discussion on potential areas of cooperation, joint events, and future collaboration opportunities between the ASEAN Center and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ASEAN Center remains committed to strengthening regional and international partnerships.
