Türkiye's elevation to ASEAN Dialogue Partner status on July 24 marks an important milestone in its engagement with Southeast Asia, opening new avenues for political dialogue, economic cooperation, and institutional partnerships with one of the world's most dynamic regions.

ASBU ASEAN Center Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Çelik noted that this development will further strengthen Türkiye's long-term engagement with ASEAN and contribute to a more diversified and multidimensional foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific. The director shared her assessment with TRT World.
