ASEAN Research and Application Center director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Çelik, together with the deputy directors, Dr. Yusuf Avcı and Dr. Vuslat Nur Şahin Temel, had a meeting on July 15 with colleagues from the University of the Philippines Asia Center to explore new avenues for academic collaboration between Türkiye and the Philippines.

We had a productive exchange on potential joint initiatives, research collaborations, and institutional partnerships that can further strengthen academic engagement between our institutions and contribute to broader Türkiye-ASEAN academic relations.

H.E. Ambassador Jaime Ascalon and the Embassy of the Philippines in Türkiye facilitated this valuable meeting.
