Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Jaime Ramon T. Ascalon Jr., Visited Our Center 

Social Sciences University of Ankara (SSUA) ASEAN Application and Research Center hosted a high-level delegation in line with its mission to strengthen diplomatic and academic collaborations. 

His Excellency Jaime Ramon T. Ascalon Jr., Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Turkey, and Second Secretary Ms. Angela Tolentino paid an official visit to our center. 

During the meeting, which was hosted by our center and attended by the Director of the Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Çelik, and the deputy directors, strategic issues aimed at strengthening the bonds between Turkey and Southeast Asia were discussed. The meeting evaluated Turkey-Philippines relations, the ASEAN-Turkey Sectoral Dialogue Partnership, as well as potential future joint projects, academic research, and institutional cooperation mechanisms.

As ASEAN's importance in regional and global affairs continues to grow, strengthening the dialogue and people-to-people ties between Turkey and Southeast Asia holds immense value for both academic and diplomatic relations.
