The ASEAN Center at SSUA paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Apirat Sugondhabhirom, Ambassador of Thailand, on the occasion of the completion of his tenure. The delegation was led by the Center’s Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Çelik, and Deputy Directors Dr. Vuslat Nur Şahin and Dr. Yusuf Avcı.During the meeting, we conveyed our appreciation for His Excellency’s kind support—particularly during the establishment phase of the ASEAN Center—and for his contributions to Türkiye–Thailand relations.The ASEAN Center will continue to advance cooperation between Türkiye and ASEAN member states through academic engagement, policy-relevant research, and institutional partnerships.
