ASEAN Research and Application Center Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Çelik, Deputy Director Dr. Vuslat Nur Şahin Temel, and ASBÜ Area Studies academic Dr. Yavuz Çelik attended the Japan Self-Defense Forces Day Reception, hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Ankara on 10 September. Prof. Dr. Ali Merthan Dündar of Ankara University also joined the delegation.

The reception offered an opportunity to celebrate the strong diplomatic and cultural bonds between Japan and Türkiye, bringing together distinguished colleagues and members of the diplomatic community. The attendees extended their thanks to H.E. Ambassador Tamura Masami and the Embassy staff for their hospitality, and expressed their wish to continue academic and cultural dialogue between the two countries.
