Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBÜ) ASEAN Center hosted a high-level delegation in line with its mission to strengthen diplomatic and academic cooperation.

H.E. Mr. Chaturont Chaiyakam, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Türkiye, and Ms. Arisa Wiwatsomwong, Second Secretary at Royal Thai Embassy paid an official visit to our center.

Hosted by our center with the participation of the director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Çelik, the deputy directors Dr. Yusuf Avcı and Dr. Vuslat Nur Şahin Temel, the meeting focused on academic and cultural cooperation opportunities between Türkiye and Thailand. Discussions also touched on the role of the ASEAN Center in promoting closer engagement between Türkiye and ASEAN through academic dialogue and institutional collaboration.
